From London- exit A12 at junction 19

Take the B1137 to Boreham. Turn left into Waltham Road just after The Cock Inn. Travel along for about 4 miles passing Great Leighs Church on the right. Take the next right, signposted to Fuller Street/Terling. Follow this lane and The Square and Compasses is on the left when entering the village.

Follow signs for A130/A131 to Sudbury, Stansted and Great Leighs Racecourse. Travel along Essex Regiment Way passing Channels Golf Course. Turn right, A131/A120 towards Sudbury and Braintree Freeport. At Deres Bridge junction turn right and follow sign to Great Leighs. When entering Great Leigh village turn right into Boreham Road. Travel along passing Mill Lane on left. Take the next left signposted to Fuller Street/Terling. Follow this lane and The Square and Compasses is on the left when entering the village.
