Information

Do I need to make a reservation?

Whenever possible we suggest you telephone in advance and make a booking as we can get quite busy. If this is not possible, then please do turn up – we try our very best never to turn anyone away as long as you don’t mind waiting a while in the bar until a table becomes free.

Do you allow large groups?

For larger groups we have our upstairs Private Dining Room. The Gallery will seat a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 14 guests very comfortably.

A deposit of £10 per person is required for parties of 8 or more.

Can we bring along a celebration cake?

This will only be allowed with prior arrangement with the management in advance of your reservation.  Cakes can only be served after the puddings and with tea and coffee. It will not be a replacement for pudding.

Do you cater for special diets?

Yes, with prior notice. We ask that you inform us of your dietary requirements when making your reservation as this helps our chef’s prepare prior to your arrival.

Do you allow children?

Well behaved children are very welcome. We do not offer a specific children’s menu, as we believe that children should be able to have the same choice as their parents. We are happy to prepare smaller dishes of most of our menu to suit those younger palates and appetites.

We do not supply highchairs, you are very welcome to bring your own.
We do not supply changing facilities.

Do you have disabled facilities?

Yes we do. Access with no steps is via the car park entrance at the rear of the building. We suggest you alight from your vehicle at this point before parking.

Do you allow dogs?

We allow well behaved dogs in The Taproom or in the Garden and there is always a water bowl available.

Do you allow muddy boots/walkers?

Yes. Muddy boots are allowed in the Taproom. We kindly ask that you change your boots to sit in The Dining Room or The Gallery.
